Biography
Tom Kuppens is assistant professor in economics teaching methodology at the Multidisciplinary Institute of Teacher Education (MILO) at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and the School of Educational Studies of Hasselt University (UHasselt). He is also assistant professor in environmental economics at the Centre for Environmental Sciences (CMK) at UHasselt. He combines both expertises to rethink economics education by creating transformative learning environments for sustainable development. Moreover, he is one of three co-presidents of the COPERNICUS Alliance, the European Network of Higher Education for Sustainable Development.
